(RN) Risk Manager -Remote (Tampa)

Job DescriptionJob Description RN Risk Manager (remote) Job description : Overview Ensure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Risk Management Nurse with a strong leadership background in a skilled nursing facility setting (DON, ADON, risk management experience preferred). This is a remote position with a focus on supporting long-term care facilities in Central and North Central Florida. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving quality of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and reducing litigation risk across multiple facilities. Responsibilities • Assess and improve risk management strategies in long term care facilities • Provide guidance on regulatory compliance, clinical best practices, and survey readiness • Support incident and accident investigations and implementation of corrective actions • Analyze trends to identify clinical gaps and assist in developing proactive quality improvement plans • Educate and train staff on risk mitigation, safety, and documentation standards • Collaborate with leadership teams to enhance resident outcomes and minimize liability • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that impact risk management practices. Qualifications • Active RN license in Florida • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a leadership role within a skilled nursing facility • Risk Management experience in long-term care settings • Deep understanding of AHCA regulations, CMS guidelines, and QAPI principles • Proficient in Point Click Care • Strong writing, communication and problem solving skills • Comfortable working remotely and traveling to facilities within Central and North Central Florida on occasion Job Type : Full-time Benefits : • Dental insurance • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance • Work from home Application Question(s) : • Are you a Registered Nurse? • Do you have experience as a DON, ADON or risk manager in a long term care setting?
