Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining our database by entering new and updated customer and insurance information after samples are processed in our laboratory. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure 100% accuracy with regards to content and spelling, while your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively outreach to customers and clinics to validate incomplete information. Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities, and ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Process customer and insurance source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies, resolving discrepancies using standard procedures, and returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution.
- Enter customer and insurance data after samples are processed by the laboratory, double-checking your work to ensure all data is correct and complete.
- Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures, verifying entered customer and insurance data, and correcting, deleting, or reentering data as necessary.
- Contact customers and clinics directly to validate incomplete information, providing excellent customer service and ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes, and contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Prepare requisitions to be filed daily, ensuring all documents are organized and readily available.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent organizational, typing, and data entry skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. You should be results-driven, with a high energy level and ability to work independently, analyzing information and making informed decisions. A minimum of 1 year of insurance experience is preferred, although not essential.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in data entry or a related field.
- Excellent typing and data entry skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
