Job Overview

We are looking for an exceptional Digital Media Operations Leader to spearhead our client service management and team leadership efforts. As a crucial member of our Milan-based Italian advertising sales and operations team, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth, optimizing operational efficiency, and delivering top-notch support to our clients. Your expertise in media planning, campaign management, and team leadership will be essential in helping us achieve our objectives and maintain high standards in our relationships with advertisers and agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of digital media operations professionals in supporting assigned sales representatives and clients throughout all stages of the campaign lifecycle, from planning to invoicing
  • Develop and execute effective media plans that maximize revenue and drive client satisfaction
  • Allocate team responsibilities, contribute to campaign management, and provide guidance and support to team members
  • Perform all tasks related to campaign management, including inventory forecasting, media plan creation, order entry, trafficking, optimization, reporting, and invoicing
  • Ensure that the Account Manager is fully trained on campaign execution and able to address all related questions and concerns
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for any escalations on complex issues or requests related to inventory, ad products, or campaigns
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting teams to track revenue and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Investigate and resolve ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues, liaising with global Ad Platforms support teams as needed
  • Evaluate potential ad tech vendor integrations and provide feedback on contract negotiations
  • Design, implement, review, and improve operational processes that drive quality and efficiency
  • Analyze utilization and performance of digital inventory to develop strategies and products that maximize revenue yield
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members, including onboarding new hires and creating internal documentation to outline processes and best practices
  • Work closely with regional teams and serve as a local center of excellence for other offices across EMEA
  • Stay up-to-date with arenaflex's ad tech stack and ecosystem, and follow industry developments and trends

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in digital media operations, team leadership, and client service management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A graduate degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of overall experience in the advertising industry, either on the publisher/agency side or in ad tech
  • Proven team management experience and ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Expertise in defining and improving processes, with a focus on operational efficiency and scalability
  • Strong understanding of digital media planning, campaign management, and ad operations, including video, display, and mobile advertising
  • Experience with ad tech platforms, including Google Ad Manager, DV360, and other industry-standard tools
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy requirements related to digital advertising
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the company in external meetings and events
  • Media or entertainment brand experience is desirable, as is knowledge of the processes and procedures of a global corporation
