You'll engage, consult, and educate members based on their unique needs, preferences, and understanding of our plans, tools, and resources. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Answering customer inquiries, both basic and complex, related to claims, eligibility, and benefits - Resolving issues by phone and triaging resulting rework to appropriate staff - Documenting and tracking contacts with members, providers, and plan sponsors - Guiding members through their plan benefits, arenaflex policy, and procedures, as well as having knowledge of resources to comply with regulatory guidelines - Creating an emotional connection with our members by understanding and engaging them to the fullest to champion for their best health - Taking accountability to fully understand the member's needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the member - Anticipating customer needs and providing related information to answer unasked questions - Using customer service threshold framework to make financial decisions to resolve member issues - Explaining member's rights and responsibilities in accordance with contract **Required Qualifications** - Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:30am - 8:30pm Eastern Standard Time (EST), Monday - Friday - Customer Service experiences in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or retail location preferred, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate - Experience in a production environment - High School Diploma or Equivalent **Preferred Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, health care administration) - Previous experience in a health care setting or related industry - Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative, Certified Health Care Customer Service Representative) **Skills and Competencies** - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion - Ability to navigate complex health care plans and policies - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to work in a remote environment and maintain productivity and focus **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
