Key Responsibilities

• Plan and foster top-notch content for versatility, reliability, and performance
• Resolve complicated Splunk issues utilizing your expertise in advanced searching and dashboarding
• Implement integrations with external applications and systems as needed
• Advocate and educate our customer community on Splunk search, alert, and dashboard best practices
• Perform daily operational and community support
• Conduct data understanding, categorization, and enhancement
• Create and manage data artifacts, such as fields, extractions, tags, event types, queries, workflow actions, aliases, and macros
• Arrange list-based reports and data model acceleration
• Work from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to create your own schedule

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 3 years of experience in creating advanced Splunk dashboards and searches in Splunk
• Scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, or other)
• Familiarity with Splunk's Basic XML System and application structure
• Knowledge of regular expressions
• Experience driving insights with data and Splunk products
• Ability to create dashboards in Dashboard Studio
• Familiarity with Ansible and Git
• Web development experience

• Experience with Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud

• Experience creating, testing, and deploying various Splunk configurations and Splunk technology add-ons
• Ability to own and drive Splunk system and data management best practices, including data onboarding
• Experience helping with the creation of advanced dashboards, reports, alerts, and other data objects in Splunk to drive value across the organization
