About the Role
In this dynamic role, you will be the voice of arenaflex, engaging directly with our customers to provide personalized support, solve problems, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers via phone to address a variety of topics, from shopping for new pets to finding the perfect products, and problem-solving when issues arise.
- Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution.
- Operate with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness towards customers and team members alike.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, embracing feedback, and operating in a culture of openness and growth.
- Collaborate with teammates, your direct manager, and other team members across the organization using virtual tools like Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to a customer-centric culture of collaboration.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to demonstrate these skills in a written assessment.
- The ability to multi-task, performing well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a conversation on the phone, navigating computer systems, and taking notes.
- Proficiency in using computers for data entry and rapid navigation through systems and the internet to find information and support our customers.
- Flexibility to adapt to change, shift schedules, and work overtime as needed by the business unit.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to pass a background check.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively.
- Familiarity with pet care or the pet industry, although not necessary, can be a significant advantage.
- Experience with customer service software and technology, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
Technical Requirements for Remote Work
To work remotely with arenaflex, you will need:
- A dedicated work area that is large enough to accommodate computer monitors and is free from distractions and background noise.
- A reliable, wired, high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 30 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. You can test your internet speed at speedtest.net or by contacting your service provider.
- A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify. Options include downloading the Okta mobile app on a smartphone or tablet, or using a cell phone that can receive SMS messages and phone calls.
