Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Member Service Representative, you will provide exceptional telephone assistance to our Medicaid members and providers, addressing a wide range of inquiries, including eligibility, provider changes, and requests for ID cards. Your goal will be to deliver an outstanding experience to our callers every time, leveraging your strong customer skills to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming member and provider calls and responding to inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, services, prior authorization requirements, extra benefits, and programs.
- Utilizing high-speed internet connectivity with secure service via an ethernet cable (note: Wi-Fi is not permitted) to ensure seamless and secure operations.
- Participating in comprehensive training provided by arenaflex, which includes an initial 6-week training schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
- Adhering to production schedules from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to commute to our office in Charleston, WV, if unable to work from home due to prolonged technical issues.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Must reside within 50 miles of Linthicum, MD, to ensure proximity for potential in-office requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with members and providers, both orally and in written form.
- Capability to meet performance standards, attendance requirements, and call quality goals.
- Self-sufficiency and the ability to work from home with minimal supervision.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working remotely in a call center setting, with a proven track record of success.
- Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare, with the ability to navigate complex health care systems.
Skills and Competencies
To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with members and providers. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive pay range of $17.00 to $31.30 per hour, depending on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
