**Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative - Healthcare Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Effectively handling incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, while proactively gathering patient and order information.
* Working closely with patients to conduct conversations on therapy changes, targeted medications, and other healthcare-related topics.
* Demonstrating a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare requirements, dispensing processes, referrals, and customer education.
* Ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient adherence to their specific therapies.
* Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals, including doctors' offices and pharmacists.
* Ensuring timely and accurate billing for unbilled claims and account payment for outstanding balances.
* Resolving insurance problems and patient issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information, therapy changes, and pharmacy or shipping errors.
* Maintaining chronological notes detailing actions taken to resolve outstanding unbilled claims.
**Work at Home Requirements**
To ensure a seamless and productive work experience, we require:
* High-Speed Internet with at least 25 Mbps download speed (no satellite, Wi-Fi, or cellular/wireless carrier internet services).
* A hard-wired internet connection via an ethernet cable to a modem/router that you own and are responsible for.
* Must live in Texas.
* A dedicated, quiet, and secured workspace with no distractions.
* A USB wired headset with noise-canceling microphone.
**Additional Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
* Demonstrate a professional positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette.
* Be available to work a full-time schedule, including weekends, to meet business needs.
* Be willing to submit to a drug test and background check.
