PGIM Global Services-Analyst, Investment Operations (Hybrid/Newark,NJ/Tampa,FL)
PGIM is the Global Asset Management business of Prudential, focused on improving financial services and making a meaningful impact. The Analyst in Investment Operations will support the Derivatives Accounting & Reporting Group by providing accounting, financial reporting, and recordkeeping support for Prudential and its subsidiaries.
Responsibilities
- Support the daily processing and monitoring of a wide array of derivative asset types, their cash settlements, and collateral movements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Statutory, GAAP, and Tax reporting to meet all regulatory filing requirements
- Partner with internal clients and business partners to complete various ad-hoc requests and special projects
- Identify, implement and perform key controls that will improve overall data quality
- Utilize various applications such as PAM(Accounting System), Oracle Ledger, Cognos reports, MS Excel, etc. to analyze data and prepare financial reporting
Skills
- Bachelor degree required with a major in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or Information Systems preferred
- Experience with investment security types is a plus
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and work in a deadline oriented environment
- Tight-knit collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills, resourcefulness and attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task/juggle multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Oracle General Ledger
- Prior background / internship experience in investment management or financial services Industry is strongly preferred
