Project Manager/Business Analyst
Peoples Bank is a longstanding financial institution dedicated to customer commitment and community support. The Project Manager / Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business units and IT, supporting project management and business analysis activities to enhance processes and ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, organization, and execution of projects from inception to completion
- Assist in managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and reporting status to management
- Help ensure projects stay on track and within budget, escalating issues as needed
- Contribute to the consistent application of project management methodologies, tools, and documentation
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and lessons learned sessions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals
- Work with end users and managers to evaluate business processes and software, identifying areas for improvement
- Gather and analyze data to develop recommendations for system and process enhancements
- Translate complex technical findings into simplified terms for presentation to stakeholders
- Assist with planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades and enhancements
- Document workflows, software configurations, and process changes
- Ensure business systems adhere to information security, risk, and compliance standards
- Collaborate with IT, data analysts, and vendors to resolve issues and implement approved changes
- Participate in meetings and project groups, providing status updates on ongoing tasks
- Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff and management across departments
- Support the creation of training programs and documented procedures for project teams
- Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in a technical or business field) or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, training, or related roles (internships or coursework may count)
- Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)
- Experience in data analysis and statistical tools is a plus
- Banking or financial institution experience preferred but not required
