Project Manager/Business Analyst

The Project Manager / Business Analyst serves as a bridge between business units and IT, supporting project management and business analysis activities to enhance processes and ensure successful project execution.


Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, organization, and execution of projects from inception to completion
  • Assist in managing project schedules, tracking deliverables, and reporting status to management
  • Help ensure projects stay on track and within budget, escalating issues as needed
  • Contribute to the consistent application of project management methodologies, tools, and documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and lessons learned sessions
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals
  • Work with end users and managers to evaluate business processes and software, identifying areas for improvement
  • Gather and analyze data to develop recommendations for system and process enhancements
  • Translate complex technical findings into simplified terms for presentation to stakeholders
  • Assist with planning, testing, and implementing system upgrades and enhancements
  • Document workflows, software configurations, and process changes
  • Ensure business systems adhere to information security, risk, and compliance standards
  • Collaborate with IT, data analysts, and vendors to resolve issues and implement approved changes
  • Participate in meetings and project groups, providing status updates on ongoing tasks
  • Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff and management across departments
  • Support the creation of training programs and documented procedures for project teams
  • Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a technical or business field) or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, training, or related roles (internships or coursework may count)
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)
  • Experience in data analysis and statistical tools is a plus
  • Banking or financial institution experience preferred but not required
