[Remote] VFX Compositor, Jr (General Submission)

Company 3 is a creative services provider for content creators, and they are seeking a VFX Compositor, Jr. This role involves taking direction from VFX and Compositing Supervisors, working autonomously to deliver high-quality visual effects, and managing complex compositing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Have an excellent understanding of the broader VFX pipeline including color space, workflow and industry-standard script layouts
• Ongoing communication with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines
• Taking responsibility for own workload, time management and notes/feedback actions required by Supervisors

• Excellent understanding of the broader VFX pipeline including color space, workflow and industry-standard script layouts

• Taking responsibility for own workload, time management and notes/feedback actions required by Supervisors
• Advanced ability in all aspects of compositing in Nuke
• Integrating 2D, 3D and live-action elements to a high-end visual effects standard

• Excellent knowledge of Nuke's 3D system
• Strong understanding of colorspace pipelines
• Knowledge of other VFX software such as Maya, Mocha, or 3D Equalizer
