Therapeutic Training and Support Intern
Justice Resource Institute is a nonprofit organization focused on social justice and supporting families with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. They are seeking a Therapeutic Training and Support Intern to learn clinical interventions, strengthen documentation skills, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families.
Responsibilities
- Learn how to use new clinical interventions to support youth and families
- Explore your clinical knowledge through use of evidence based and culturally competent modalities
- Strengthen your documentation skills and use of electronic medical records
- Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team supporting youth and families
Skills
- Minimum working towards a Bachelor's degree (final year) or Master's degree (first year) in mental health, social work, psychology or human service field
- Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary
- Background and driving record checks will be performed
- Familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment
Education Requirements
