Sr. Database Administrator - SAP Basis (Remote, USA only) Own and optimize enterprise SAP landscapes across S/4HANA and ECC — 100% remote. Long-term contingent role with potential convert-to-hire after one year. Quick Facts • Location: Fully Remote (Herndon, VA) • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hrs/week (8 hrs/day) • Duration: 12-month contingent role (2,088 hours) • Pay: Competitive Responsibilities • Administer and support enterprise SAP environments including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and PI/PO • Perform SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance • Manage SAP transports, system refreshes, and client copies • Monitor system health, background jobs, logs, and performance metrics • Support SAP systems hosted in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Execute SAP upgrades, support packs, enhancement packs, and kernel updates • Administer SAP security roles, authorizations, and profiles • Support backup, disaster recovery, and operational readiness • Troubleshoot SAP issues across application, database, and OS layers Required Qualifications • Must be eligible for security clearance. • 10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA and ECC (BW/4HANA strongly preferred) • Experience supporting SAP in AWS, Azure, or GCP • Strong knowledge of SAP upgrades, patching, and kernel updates • Experience with SAP system monitoring and performance tuning • SAP security administration experience (roles, authorizations, profiles) • Experience with backups, disaster recovery, and system operations • Ability to work fully remote, 40 hours/week for ~12 months Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) • Experience supporting hybrid on-prem and cloud SAP landscapes • Familiarity with GDPR, SOX, or other compliance frameworks • Experience collaborating with cloud infrastructure or engineering teams Compliance / Eligibility (Read Carefully) • No dual citizenship permitted • No sponsorship available • Fully remote role (no onsite requirement) • Must be available 40 hours per week for the full contract duration • No travel required • No security clearance required How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed.
