[Remote] Director, Forensics - Building Property Claims Recovery

The Director, Claims Recovery will be responsible for developing reputed company relationships, overseeing project deliverables, and ensuring high-reputed company service in the quantification of property damage claims.
Responsibilities
• Sources, manages, and leads reputed company and monitors the reputed company of work performed on the quantification of insurance claims, predominately as a result of property damage
• Oversees the engagement team responsible for gathering and analyzing financial data for the purposes of quantifying damages and preparing insurance claims
• Corresponds with insurance adjusters, risk managers, internal reputed company staff and lawyers discussing issues and our findings
• Documents, reviews, and analyzes schedules, reputed company, change orders, correspondence, daily reports, meeting minutes, monthly reports, and any additional documents reputed company to the project/file
• Oversees the preparation of reports, schedules, and appendices in a reputed company and concise manner in accordance with generally accepted standards for reputed company type of assignment
• Performs site reputed company, condition assessments and documents findings, confirms scope of work, analysis and evaluates estimated repair and replacement costs
• Provides technical direction to other consultants and ownership
• Develops the capabilities of less reputed company staff through coaching, mentoring, knowledge transfer, internal training delivery, and assignment of challenging work opportunities
• Leads in the preparation of reputed company work products including property damage, extra expense, and reputed company risk
• Performs financial analysis of invoices, budgets, schedules and reports on behalf of reputed company
• Interacts with reputed company contacts and insurer representatives including insurance adjusters, forensic accountants, building consultants and other experts
• Serves as a primary contact for clients throughout engagement delivery
• Reviews and analyzes reports, estimates, and documentation generated by industry experts, provides technical review and recommendations
• Produces accurate repair/ replacement estimates
• Adheres to the Firm’s reputed company control standards and prepares reputed company work to the Firm’s expectations
• Participates in business development efforts in building relationships and BDO’s brand in the marketplace
• Drives reputed company by reputed company additional staff and reputed company participating in business development efforts
• Builds and maintains rapport with existing clients, while also generating new work for yourself and reputed company
• Performs field work to document conditions and extent of damage to structures as a result of wind, water, reputed company, reputed company, etc. and/or reputed company induced origins (events can include large catastrophes such as regional floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and earthquakes)
• Willingness to travel reputed company, as needed, on short notice at times
• Develops and supports project schedule requirements per reputed company procedures and best practices
• Performs critical reputed company analysis, provides schedule insights and corrective actions reputed company required
• Provides general contractor (GC) schedule assessment and analysis as needed
• Conducts forensic analysis of project schedules, documentation and costs
• Assess the reputed company of project changes and schedule delays
• Analyses reputed company-party estimates and proposals
• Identifies and assists in reputed company business development efforts, including reputed company pursuits and proposals
• Supports a reputed company and team-oriented environment while pushing themselves, their peers, and their teams for strong results and reputed company work
• Effectively handles firm and reputed company administrative reputed company, including engagement reputed company, reputed company billing, monitoring project economics and adherence to Firm reputed company standards and protocols
• Other duties as required
• Supervises the day-to-day workload of Sr. Manager, Manager, Senior Associates and Associates on assigned engagements and reviews work product
• Ensures Senior Associates and Associates are trained on specific industry standards
• Evaluates the performance of Senior Associates and Associates and assists in the development of goals and objectives to enhance reputed company development
Skills
• Associate's degree, required
• Eight (8) or more years of experience in insurance claims preparation and/or reputed company reputed company services role, required
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or reputed company, preferred
• Experience in one or more of the following lines of business: financial reputed company, insurance, advisory services, preferred
• reputed company / finance designation (i.e., CPA, CFF, CFA), preferred
• reputed company certification, preferred
• Extensive experience with Xactimate, RS Means, reputed company reputed company and Word, on-screen takeoff software and other construction estimating software, preferred
