Kutak Rock, LLP is a leading national law firm seeking an associate to join their Real Estate and Finance department in Omaha, NE. The role involves developing knowledge and skills in complex business, real estate and asset-based finance transactions, while working closely with experienced partners.

Responsibilities

• Draft financial documents
• Review and manage real estate-related due diligence
• Review leasing and purchase/sale documentation

Skills

• Currently admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to apply critical thinking and possess a high attention to detail
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Ability and confidence to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team environment
• Commitment to achieving the goals of Firm clients
• Experience in real estate or corporate finance transactional matters in a law firm or corporate legal department
• Candidates with excellent academic record given preference
