Wealth Advisor / Private Client Advisor
Mercor is hiring on behalf of a next-generation wealth advisory group that combines personalized financial planning with data-driven insights and AI-enhanced portfolio solutions. We’re seeking an experienced Wealth Advisor / Private Client Advisor to build, retain, and grow relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients through comprehensive financial planning and bespoke investment strategies.
Role Overview
You’ll serve as the primary advisor to a select group of clients, managing both financial plans and multi-asset investment portfolios. This is a remote, flexible (20–30 hrs/week) opportunity designed for seasoned advisors who excel at relationship management, asset allocation, and long-term strategy execution.
Responsibilities
• Manage and deepen relationships with HNW and UHNW clients, delivering exceptional service and trust-based advice.
• Develop and implement holistic financial and investment plans aligned with client goals, liquidity needs, and risk tolerance.
• Conduct asset allocation, portfolio reviews, and performance evaluations.
• Identify opportunities to grow client AUM through strategic referrals and value-driven engagement.
• Collaborate with investment and planning teams to integrate AI insights, risk analytics, and digital portfolio tools.
• Maintain a deep understanding of tax, estate, and retirement planning strategies.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or RIA environments.
• Proven track record managing $20M+ in client assets.
• Expertise in financial planning, portfolio construction, and client communication.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset.
• Knowledge of financial planning software, CRM systems, and investment platforms.
• CFP, CFA, CPA, or MBA preferred.
