[Remote] Public Relations Sr. Account Manager --Aerospace, Defense and Industrials Sector

Distinctive Edge Partners is a rapidly growing communications agency focused on aerospace, national defense, and industrial sector clients. The Public Relations Sr. Account Manager will serve as the day-to-day account lead for multiple clients, requiring ownership, strategic communication, and the ability to generate impactful media coverage and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the day-to-day account lead for multiple clients
• Pitch and secure earned media, awards, and speaking engagements
• Develop and execute marketing strategies
• Write proposals and win new business
• Generate and edit award submissions, press releases, fact sheets, backgrounders, biographies, reports, briefing books, contributed articles, speaking opportunity abstracts, pitches, Q&As, and general marketing materials
• Prioritize responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflow, and client goals
Skills
• A minimum of 10 years of public relations experience, with at least 3 years of agency experience preferred
• Extensive experience pitching and securing earned media, awards, and speaking engagements
• Creative writer with the ability to spot trends and weave them into your pitches and op-eds
• Expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies
• Outstanding networking skills
• Experience pitching and writing proposals, as well as winning new business
• Team player who has the natural ability to rally others
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read the room and communicate strategically
• History of generating and editing award submissions, press releases, fact sheets, backgrounders, biographies, reports, briefing books, contributed articles, speaking opportunity abstracts, pitches, Q&As, and general marketing materials
• Effectively prioritize responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflow, and client goals
