Website Developer (Wix or Squarespace) for Publishing Company Site Redesign Contract | Remote | 2–3 Week Project Timeline Your Voice Publishing is seeking a skilled, design-savvy Website Developer to help us enhance and relaunch our current website: www.yourvoicepublishing.com. Our company has grown significantly, and now we need our site to reflect the depth of our services, testimonials, and multi-department structure. We're looking for someone who’s not just technically proficient in Wix or Squarespace, but who also has a creative eye, understands clean design, font impact, and user flow, and knows how to build with intention for a professional publishing brand. Project Scope: •Enhance and redesign the existing website using Wix or Squarespace • Organize and display testimonials using existing images and videos (provided) • Integrate background images, video clips, and visual media for engagement • Assist in choosing readable, brand-aligned fonts and layouts • Ensure all sections reflect new departments, services, and company growth • Create easy-to-update sections for events and future site edits • Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure brand consistency • Provide basic training on how to update key areas of the site (events, text updates, etc.) You’re a Strong Fit If You: • Have proven experience building sites in Wix or Squarespace (portfolio required) • Understand modern web design principles and font readability • Know how to use font, layout, and spacing to enhance user engagement • Can meet twice weekly via Zoom (camera optional) for progress check-ins and feedback • Are comfortable partnering with a Creative Director and using existing brand assets • Can edit short videos or clips for web use (preferred, not required) • Are experienced with AI tools for image generation (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Canva AI, Nano Banana, etc.) or open to collaborating in that process • Can confidently complete the site in 2–3 weeks We Provide: • Images, testimonials, videos, and website copy • Brand colors and creative direction • Prompt feedback and fast turnaround on web designer requests • A collaborative environment with a clear vision and fast decision-making Bonus Skills (Not Required but Appreciated): • Experience working with publishing, media, or creative brands • Familiarity with creative branding, book marketing, or storytelling • Light animation or motion design skills for site elements If you’re a website developer who wants to build something meaningful, clean, and creative—and you love working with purpose-driven brands—we’d love to connect with you.
