Position: Statistical Analyst (Violent Death Data Abstractor, Floater) Employer Industry: Public Health Why Consider this Job Opportunity: – Salary up to $27.00/hr – Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization – Travel may be required – Position is funded by the National Violent Death Reporting System grant – Restricted position with availability of funding reviewed periodically – Wage employees are eligible to apply for all classified positions for which recruitment has been initiated What to Expect (Job Responsibilities ): – Collect and enter data for specific program databases – Analyze data to identify discrepancies, missing information, and duplicate entries – Ensure data integrity and security – Perform quality assurance duties – Diagnose data errors in database and maintain data and reports in a secured area What is Required (Qualifications): – Knowledge of database management, data quality assurance techniques and procedures, and basic statistical formulas and techniques – Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and database management skills – Knowledge of basic research methods, information review processes, and data entry – Ability to independently collect, analyze, and enter data; perform data quality checks; report and reconcile discrepancies; prepare clear and accurate documentation and reports – Software skills should include MS Office How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): – Experience using large public health or criminal justice data systems – Experience in research, data abstraction, or data entry is preferred #Data Analysis #Public Health #Career Opportunity #Research #Quality Assurance At Talentify, we prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
