[Remote] K4 publishing system K-3 ELA Copy Editor Needed
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lumina Datamatics is a trusted partner in the global publishing and retail industries, and they are seeking experienced primary school ELA editors. The role involves proofreading, copyediting, and maintaining errata lists for educational materials using the K4 publishing system. Responsibilities • The editor will proofread and copyfit 1Rs for all G3 literacy components (teacher’s edition, student’s edition, extended writing components). In addition, the editor will add the Multilingual learners (MLL) support revisions to the teacher’s edition pages in K4 • The editor will transmit 1Rs to the compositor in K4 and update the existing errata list • The editor will proofread/check PDFs in K4. If there are any PDF corrections, the editor will transmit them to the client and compositor in K4. You will also update the errata sheet Skills • Experience reviewing and marking up page proofs in K4 and InCopy • Experience editing/proofreading/copyediting primary school ELA content Company Overview • Lumina Datamatics is a provider of end-to-end content solutions for the publishing market.
