At TJX, the Human Resources organization is a key partner to the business and is critical to our ongoing growth! Our HR model is based upon Centers of Expertise (COE), Human Resources Business Partners, Human Resources Operations and the Business working in partnership to fuel and sustain TJX growth objectives. As an HR Business Partner I for the Buying office based in NYC, you will support the business by driving greater efficiency and scalability. You will provide support for various HR programs, projects, and initiatives including but not limited to talent strategies, performance management and reporting. This hybrid position will be based in New York City. Responsibilities • Contribute to the delivery of HR strategies to support the business priorities, while aligning HR services and talent strategy to goals • Influence and monitor workforce planning and execution for the business • Inform and recommend necessary training based on needs assessment • Contribute to the Corporate HR team and TJX HR function • Lead projects and/or HR initiatives/rollouts that require cross-functional expertise • Apply data and feedback mechanisms to influence business decisions with clients • Coach and counsel clients when needed • Proactively recommend new HR areas of support for clients as needed • Champion culture, Inclusion & Diversity, and well-being within function/s • Support continuous improvement and change management initiatives • Support acquisition, development, engagement, and retention of TJX associates • Support TJX compensation, performance, and talent management programs Requirements • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience which could include HR Generalist, Field Management, or functional CoE such as Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, Talent Management, HR Operations, Total Rewards etc. HR internship or Coop experience would be considered. • Basic knowledge HR policies and processes (i.e. recruiting, workforce planning and talent management) • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build effective working relationships with internal partners in an evolving environment • Ability to engage and collaborate with people at all levels of the organization • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to communicate complex business information in a clear and compelling way • Excellent project management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple streams of work from multiple sources without sacrificing quality • Use of data analysis with storytelling for problem-solving, influencing and decision-making • Identification and development of talent • Business acumen with the understanding of the linkage between business strategy and HR • Meeting facilitation and presentation skills • Understanding of Employment Law and Employee Relations • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite Nice-to-haves • Experience working in a high growth global organization is ideal • HR Certification a plus Benefits • Associate discount • 401(k) match • medical/dental/vision • HSA • health care FSA • life insurance • short/long-term disability • paid holidays/vacation /sick/bereavement/parental leave • EAP • incentive programs for management • auto/home insurance discounts • tuition reimbursement • scholarship program • adoption/surrogacy assistance • smoking cessation • child care/cell phone discounts • pet/legal insurance • credit union • referral bonuses Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
