Woocommerce Developer with WordPress

Required Skills: • 8 years of hands-on experience with WooCommerce and WordPress development • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (jQuery) • Experience building custom WordPress themes and plugins • Solid understanding of WooCommerce architecture, hooks, filters, and templates • WooCommerce & eCommerce • Advanced experience customizing WooCommerce checkout, cart, and product functionality • Payment gateway integrations (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) • Shipping, tax, and multi-currency configurations • Knowledge of eCommerce performance and conversion optimization best practices Key Responsibilities • Develop, customize, and maintain WooCommerce-based eCommerce websites in a remote environment • Build and enhance custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements • Customize WooCommerce functionality including checkout flows, cart logic, product pages, and order management • Integrate third-party APIs and services (payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM, marketing platforms) • Optimize performance, scalability, and page speed for high-traffic WooCommerce stores • Ensure security best practices, data protection, and compliance standards • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to WooCommerce, WordPress, and hosting environments • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, cross-browser-compatible interfaces • Participate in code reviews, remote stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions • Maintain clean, well-documented code using version control systems (Git) • Assist with deployments, updates, backups, and site migrations Communicate progress, blockers, and solutions clearly with remote team members Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
