Research Study Assistant
Northwestern University is seeking a Research Study Assistant to perform social-behavioral research. The role involves administering tests, collecting data, and assisting in report preparation while adhering to Good Clinical Practices and relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Recruits study participants and reviews, obtains informed consent
- Schedules study visits with participants
- Conducts interviews
- Facilitates communication with key personnel & participants to maintain project study flow
- Manages social media aspects of projects
- May train other research staff to interview/test participants
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major such as social or health science or related; OR appropriate combination of education and experience
- Must complete NU's IRB CITI training before interacting with any participants & must re-certify every 3 years
- Good interpersonal communications skills
- Conscientious
- Comfort using computer software
- Prior experience conducting supervised research
- Using Qualtrics Survey Software
- Using software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet
