Civil Engineer I

Westinghouse Electric Company is a leader in the global nuclear energy industry, committed to providing clean energy solutions. They are seeking a Civil Engineer I to develop expertise in the design and operation of nuclear power plants while fostering business relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants
• Grow and develop extensive technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets
• Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants
• Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with Westinghouse customers

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Other disciplines will not be considered
• 3.0+ GPA
• Passion for Technical Design and Analysis
• Eagerness to learn and master engineering software required
• Desire to obtain with long term goal of obtaining P.E./ E.I.T
• Values safety & quality
• Eager to learn the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants
• Able to develop and deliver technical presentations for issues like: project status, problem resolution and engineering recommendations
