POS Audit Assistant
Driven Brands Inc. is North America's largest automotive services company, offering a range of services through its iconic brands. The POS Audit Assistant is responsible for preparing daily closeouts by comparing sales to financial reports, maintaining logs, and ensuring errors are corrected in collaboration with managers.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for maintaining accurate detailed closeouts while maintaining all department logs. Punctual reporting of all overages/shortage and any out of compliance issues by the end of each reporting month
- Preparation of detailed closeouts, emails, and closeout folders
- Perform detailed reviews of retail transactions with the ability to identify errors
- Assist stores with general instructions on how to resolve errors
- Support the business operations by reviewing financial results and assisting with the delivery of supporting documents
- Demonstrates attentions to details, analytical and critical thinking and basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to work under pressure demonstrates initiative and priority of workload which includes the ability to be organized, maintain accurate logs, able to follow up with field and internal management, and able to compose prompt detailed reporting emails
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills that promote mutually beneficial, respectful, and professional relationships
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent associated degree
- 1-3 years of working experience related to finance, banking, etc
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Excel with room to advance
- Ability to interpret company policies and procedures
- Ability to write concise reports to various audiences
- Ability to adapt to and learn new software
- Effective communication skills with all levels of an organization
