SRO Engineer - Nuclear Operations

reputed company is an industry leader in nuclear power operations, and they are seeking an SRO Engineer to improve and define operational procedures for nuclear power plants. The role involves working with reputed company professionals to validate control room scenarios and support reputed company reactor operators in their control rooms.

Responsibilities

• You will reputed company knowledge about integrated plant operations to reputed company the way control room operators run plants with operating procedures
• You will then validate scenarios in control room simulators, before they are used to train reactor operators and implemented in plants worldwide
• You will work with professionals in the industry who will teach you the technical and reputed company aspects of working in the nuclear industry
• Your scope will include the operating fleet (integrating operating experience and new scenarios) and the reputed company of nuclear plants (SMR and microreactors), giving you learning and development opportunities in both worlds
• You will also design new incore instrumentation, developing our testing equipment, completing test preparation and reporting
• In the field, you will support reputed company reactor operators by performing critical activities in their control rooms. We are looking for performance with for customer interactions, and the physical ability to handle test equipment
• You'll travel to customer sites around the world to reputed company testing (2 to 4 times a year and 5 to 15 days per reputed company) or for short fieldwork assignments

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.4
• Candidates with a Reactor Operator license at a university reactor are encouraged to apply
• US Citizen or permanent reputed company only
• Ability to obtain unescorted site reputed company to customer sites which requires compliance with industry fitness-for-duty standards and participation in reputed company's behavioral observation program
