PGIM is a global asset management firm committed to improving financial services and making a meaningful impact. The Analyst in Investment Operations will support the Regulatory Reporting team by providing pricing, valuation, accounting, and financial reporting services for investment portfolios.


Responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP & STAT reports, such as:
  • Monthly subledger to ledger proofs
  • Monthly Market value reconciliation
  • Quarterly MD&A Supplemental schedules
  • Quarterly cashflows for Fixed Maturities, Trading Assets, Equity at Fair Value, and Short-Term Bonds
  • Annual GAAP Surveys and footnote disclosures
  • Statutory Schedule D, DA and E along with General Interrogatories and Notes to Financials
  • Preparing General Ledger entries monthly for GAAP Market Value adjustments
  • Preparing monthly reconciliations for Asset and Income accounts
  • Researching issues related to accounting entries and the subledger Investment system
  • GAAP to STAT balance sheet reconciliation
  • Documenting procedures for any new reporting requirements
  • Completing various ad-hoc requests that are received from internal clients
  • Gathering information for both internal and external audits
  • Special projects as needed

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or related field
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • High level of self-motivation and dedication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Client focused and results oriented work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and work as a member of the team
  • Ability to work overtime during peak periods
  • Knowledge of Oracle General Ledger
  • Prior background / internship experience in investment management or financial services Industry is strongly preferred
