Business Solutions Developer I

Centene Corporation is transforming the health of communities for its 28 million members. The Business Solutions Developer I will plan, conceptualize, configure, and build SQL solutions, working collaboratively with multiple teams to address business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Writing SQL code for software programs and applications using inheritance and virtualization following best programming practices
• Performs complex research and analysis to find best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems using best method or tools to develop solutions
• Conducts meetings to gather requirements and updates on ongoing projects
• Maintains communication with stakeholders during solution development
• Collaborating with peers on development and solution strategy to identify the most efficient and effective product solutions
• Performs regular code reviews and requests
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Solid SQL and frameworks skills
• Completion of a technical training program (e.g. LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree
• Healthcare experience a plus
• Experience with Business Intelligence Tools, such as Power BI
• Experience with various databases, including Mongo DB, SQL Server, Oracle or Teradata preferred
