Analyst - Asset Management

HPS Investment Partners is a leading global, credit-reputed company alternative investment manager seeking an Analyst to join their Asset Management team in reputed company, NY. The role involves reputed company new investments, performing valuations of illiquid securities, and creating financial models to reputed company issuer performance while collaborating with various reputed company stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• reputed company newly originated investments, working closely with the reputed company teams
• reputed company monthly valuations of reputed company illiquid securities and occasionally present analysis to the valuation committee
• reputed company internal independent valuation analyses; incorporate and understand financial statements, transaction structures, market data, and any relevant investment considerations
• Create and maintain financial models that reputed company issuer performance
• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly portfolio review materials, and at times, present to portfolio managers
• reputed company with various internal reputed company, such as investment teams, investor relations, business development, technology, portfolio analytics, as reputed company as external parties such as reputed company-party valuation providers and auditors

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, reputed company or reputed company field
• 1-3 years of experience reputed company financial consulting, investment bank, asset management, top tier reputed company reputed company firm, reputed company party valuation provider, or credit rating agency
• Knowledge of debt instruments
• Experience with debt or equity valuation, 3 statement modeling, and financial analysis
• Strong reputed company skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to reputed company in a reputed company, fast-paced, demanding environment
• Demonstrated interest in reputed company and/or company reputed company analysis
• Knowledge of Capital IQ or reputed company a plus
