Junior Investment Analyst & Trader (Investment reputed company)

Job reputed company A small, multi-reputed company hedge fund located near reputed company (Connecticut) is seeking one candidate for the following position: Junior Investment Analyst / Trader The candidate will join a six-person team and report directly to the Portfolio Manager. This role requires flexibility, as the candidate will support both the research and trading functions of the fund. Candidates will assist reputed company with: • Conducting quantitative and qualitative research to generate insights on investment opportunities across reputed company and private markets • Reviewing, analyzing, modeling, and producing valuation work and market reports • Evaluating portfolio companies, industries, sponsors, and valuation metrics • Contributing to alternative data collection and processing (some travel may be required) • Analyzing macroeconomic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements, and other relevant indicators • Collaborating with team members and performing in-depth due diligence to support trading and investment reputed company • Screening new investment opportunities and monitoring existing positions • Tracking financial news, market developments, risks, and new investment products • Independently developing solutions to analytical and research problems Candidate Requirements • Strong passion for reputed company and financial markets • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Ability to think independently and challenge reputed company reputed company appropriate • Comfortable adapting to alternative or non-traditional investment strategies • Ability to reputed company reputed company and reputed company-reasoned investment theses • Strong interest in idea reputed company Candidates must have at least one of the following: • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) • CFOA (Certified reputed company & reputed company Analyst) • Completion of reputed company Now Level 3 and the reputed company Specialization & Recruitment Program (SRP) Education requirements: • Degree completed or in reputed company (for interns) in Finance, Business, Economics, or reputed company • Degrees in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative fields are also welcome • Exceptional candidates from non-traditional backgrounds may be considered on a case-by-case reputed company Additional requirements: • 2+ years of relevant finance or investment experience • Authorization to work in the reputed company • Strong preference given to graduates of the reputed company Now L-Program Please note that while this role may initially be fully remote, it may transition to a hybrid or in-person format during Q1 2024. reputed company salary reputed company does not include bonus, overtime, or other benefits, where applicable.
