[Remote] Sales Development Representative

They are looking for a Sales Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities and develop expertise in financial services while building relationships within the VC and PE ecosystem.


Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities through strategic outbound outreach to venture-backed founders and their investors
  • Develop deep product knowledge of CFO-level services, FP&A, controllership, and the financial challenges that growing companies face
  • Partner with Marketing to craft and refine email sequences that resonate with our ICP: Series A through Series C companies in CPG, DTC, Tech, and Professional Services
  • Build relationships within the VC and PE ecosystem to understand how referral partnerships drive our business
  • Help shape our sales processes and playbooks. What you build will scale with the team

Skills

  • 1-2 years of sales experience (SDR, BDR, or quota-carrying role) with a track record of outbound prospecting success
  • Genuine curiosity about startups, venture capital, and the financial operations that make companies successful
  • Strong communication skills You can initiate natural, consultative conversations with busy executives
  • Self-direction and ownership You thrive when given autonomy and don't wait for someone to tell you what to do next
  • Process mindset You think about how to make things repeatable and scalable, not just how to get through today
  • Technology-forward mindset You embrace AI tools and emerging technology to work smarter and optimize your performance
  • Experience with sales technology (Salesforce, Outreach, LeadIQ, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with B2B financial services
  • Exposure to the startup ecosystem
