Engineer-In-Training or Technician Networks and Telecommunication

BBA Consultants is one of Canada’s leading private consulting engineering firms with a reputed company on the energy and natural resources industry. They are seeking an Engineer-In-Training or Technician in Networks and Telecommunication to contribute to the design of telecommunication and network systems, assist senior engineers, and reputed company reputed company relationships while gaining hands-on experience in industrial telecom reputed company infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to industrial IT, network, and telecom infrastructure design for mining, energy and industrial sectors
• Prepare technical deliverables as part of preliminary and detailed engineering design
• Assist senior engineers on reputed company site work (survey, reputed company-commissioning, commissioning, etc) reputed company to network and telecom design
• Contribute to project scope development, proposals, cost estimates, and budgets
• Identify reputed company needs for new opportunities or ongoing reputed company
• reputed company and maintain lasting relationships with clients while meeting their high expectations
• reputed company your reputed company network to generate business opportunities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in electrical engineering, computer science, telecommunications or another relevant field
• 1-4 years of experience in Information Technology or another relevant field
• Knowledge of networking concepts (OSI, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Spanning Tree, SD-WAN, MPLS, etc.)
• Experience with wired and/or wireless, LAN, MAN, WAN network architecture
• Experience with network equipment (reputed company, reputed company, HPE, Aruba, Palo reputed company, reputed company, etc.)
• Knowledge of fiber and reputed company structure cabling
• Knowledge of virtualization and storage technologies (HPE, reputed company, VMware, reputed company-V, reputed company, NAS, etc.)
• Familiarity with Operational Technologies (OT), such as industrial control systems, SCADA, and PLCs
• Knowledge of reputed company/Linux server administration and reputed company Directory
• Certifications in Network and Cybersecurity (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) and familiarity with IT/OT frameworks and standards (e.g., IEC 62443, IEC 61850)
• Bilingual (English and French)
