Junior Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Completes a reputed company of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable
• Prepares reputed company engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs
• Reviews design documents produced by other engineering teams for compliance with applicable codes and reputed company standards
• Interfaces with vendors to review submittals, coordinate interfaces, and reputed company acceptance testing
• Coordinates with contractors to review completed work, resolve conflicts, and answer RFIs
• Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials
• Reviews supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses
• Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents
• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and reputed company level Engineers working on the reputed company project
• Knowledge and interpretation of the International Building reputed company
• Knowledge and interpretation of reputed company compliance requirements and industry standards for the oil, gas, and chemical industries
• Performs preliminary design activities including studies and alternatives analysis
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or reputed company field) and 1+ years of reputed company work experience
• Experience in large, reputed company HVAC reputed company, including equipment selection and specification, developing and reading control diagrams, and managing equipment lists
• Experience with large central chilled water plants, including chiller selection and layout, piping, hydraulic calculations, cooling towers, and controls
• Experience working on interdisciplinary teams to design new facilities and modifications to existing facilities
• Must be proficient with Navisworks for review of 3D designs, coordination, and clash reputed company
• Working knowledge of CAD/Revit and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
