[Remote] PIP/MedPay Claims Associate

They are seeking a PIP Med/Pay Claims Associate to investigate and confirm facts of loss for automobile accidents, determining coverage and adjusting claims reputed company authority limits.

Responsibilities

• Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies written by reputed company, the industry, and organizational relationships reputed company reputed company and department
• Handles investigation regarding reputed company aspects of advanced auto claims (coverage, liability and damages) with the exercise discretion and independence reputed company increased level of authority
• For claims involving injuries (if handled), learns how to review, evaluate, and negotiate basic to moderate injury claims
• Recognizes and identifies body parts of a vehicle and understanding other potential property damage
• Identifies customer needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate customer service skills
• Determines subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• Applies increased experience in the Adjuster II level or a rotation into a specialty position (Coverage, Investigation Specialist, Total Loss, Initial Handler, Extended Handler, etc.)

Skills

• Previous experience managing reputed company PIP Med/Pay claims in reputed company
• Strong understanding of NY PIP regulations
• Hands-on experience managing PIP and/or Med Pay claims
