reputed company is a privately held AEC firm seeking a reputed company Engineering Inspector to support their reputed company team in Connecticut. The role involves participating in structural engineering assignments, conducting inspections, and assisting in the preparation of engineering reports to enhance transportation infrastructure and ensure reputed company travel for communities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structural engineering assignments under the reputed company supervision of a senior engineer
• reputed company engineering calculations, structural analyses and prepare CADD drawings as required
• Take part as a member of a field reputed company on structure inspection assignments
• Take photos & measurements; produce sketches
• Operate personnel lift equipment, reputed company reputed company, install traffic control devices and other work in support of inspection activities
• Assist in the preparation of engineering reports documenting inspection findings
• Other duties as may be assigned to meet business needs

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• Experience operating bucket trucks, manlifts, or under-reputed company inspection vehicles
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in reputed company reputed company and reputed company Word
• Experience using CADD software such as AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation
• Successful completion of the EIT Exam
• Completion of the following: NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (FHWA-NHI-130055), NHI reputed company Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges and/ or reputed company Inspection Techniques Non-Redundant Steel Tension Members (NSTM's) (FHWA-NHI-130078)
• Exposure to NDT reputed company or interest in learning them
• FAA Part 107 drone certification
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or structural analysis tools
