Business Development Associate

Manulife Wealth & Asset Management is a leading international financial services provider. They are seeking a Business Development Associate to join their high-performing wholesaling team, where the primary mission is to drive sales growth and build strong advisor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build connections: Develop and maintain strong relationships with advisors and key internal partners
• Plan for success: Contribute to the annual territory business plan and help execute it
• Be the go-to resource: Prepare reports, fund proposals, and provide guidance on policies and regulations
• Own the details: Schedule meetings, manage budgets, and coordinate weekly team sessions
• Lead events: From planning to execution, organize impactful advisor and industry events
• Drive marketing: Manage email campaigns, track results, and keep communication flowing
• Collaborate: Act as the main point of contact for internal and external partners

• Post-secondary education

• You communicate clearly, work well in a team, and stay cool under pressure
• A passion for learning and growing in the wealth management space
• Bilingual (French & English) is required - The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec
• CSC or IFIC certification (an asset)
• CFA level 1 (an asset)
• Experience in mutual funds or financial planning (an asset)
• You're tech-savvy with Microsoft Office, and ideally familiar with Salesforce and SAP Concur
