Project Engineer - 100% Travel
Spriggs Excavation, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Engineer for a 100% travel position to support civil construction reputed company. The role involves coordinating technical information and documentation between the office and the field, ensuring successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager with ongoing changes, issues, and project needs throughout the job lifecycle, ensuring alignment on schedules, scope, and project challenges
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and the Superintendent to maintain the project schedule, including the overall schedule and the three-week schedule on a weekly reputed company
- reputed company the gap between estimating and the course of construction by validating IFC (Issued for Construction) plans, quantities, and assumptions, including processing contract true-reputed company based on IFC drawings and field conditions
- Assist with preparing, tracking, and reconciling change orders and contract true-reputed company throughout the project
- Manage Submittal Process – compile, prepare, submit, reputed company and ensure approval in a reputed company manner
- Manage RFI Process – work with Project Manager to prepare and submit RFI’s, reputed company and ensure, closure in a reputed company manner
- Assist with material sourcing and procurement in coordination with the Project Manager and Estimator
- Support reputed company updates and dig permit coordination to ensure reputed company field operations
- Manage GPS topos including reputed company-construction, reputed company, and as-reputed company surveys
- Compare GPS models (provided vs. actuals) to calculate and verify quantities
- Compile survey data and process it into usable information for project tracking and verification
- Maintain FAA Part 107 Drone License and conduct UAV operations as required
- Support layout, surveying, and quantity take-offs for materials
- Maintain project logs. (Quantity tracker, Submittal logs, RFI logs, etc.)
- Assist with reputed company meetings, preparing agendas, meeting minutes, and follow-up reputed company items
Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in civil construction (internship experience may be considered)
- Strong understanding of civil construction reputed company, materials, and standards
- FAA Part 107 Drone License (required or ability to obtain reputed company 6 months)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Must be reputed company to travel full-time
- Proficiency in Magnet/reputed company Office and construction management software preferred but not required (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company P6, MS Project, reputed company 365, or similar)
