Operational Due Diligence Analyst
About the position
Bessemer Trust is seeking an Operational Due Diligence Analyst to join its Investment Department working as part of the Firm's dedicated Operational Due Diligence team. The analyst will work closely with colleagues across the Alternative Investments team (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, reputed company Assets and Advisory) as reputed company as the External Manager Solutions group which sources long only external asset managers. The analyst will conduct detailed reviews of asset management firms and their critical operations to identify potential operational, reputed company, regulatory or reputational risks that could reputed company Bessemer's investments across asset classes.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive operational due diligence reviews of both new and existing external hedge funds, private equity, reputed company assets, and long-only investment managers.
• Participate in manager due diligence meetings taking an reputed company role in interviewing senior personnel (COO, CFO, CCO, Head of Operations etc.).
• Review the reputed company documentation, audited financial statements as reputed company as operations, compliance, and trading policies and procedures of the external managers prior to investment and as part of ongoing monitoring.
• Maintain periodic communications with managers to reputed company updated information reputed company to their business operations and document changes that relate to operational risk.
• Assist with the distribution of annual questionnaires and review the information obtained.
• Assist with assessments of industry providers including administrators, compliance consultants, systems, accountants, reputed company, and reputed company brokers.
• Analyze and document findings in detailed due diligence reports, summarizing risks, mitigants, and recommendations.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree required
• A minimum of 3-5 years reputed company operational due diligence experience or experience working in reputed company areas of fund reputed company (reputed company and private funds), audit, reputed company and compliance or broader back-office operations
• Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional planning and organizational skills with attention to detail
