Remote Coding Specialists, Inpatient Facility ***TRAINING PROVIDED***
Minimum Qualifications
• Possession of one of the following reputed company credentials: RHIA, RHIT, reputed company, reputed company-P; or one of the following reputed company credentials: CPC, COC, or CIC.
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT and/or HCPCS codes as appropriate, encompassing comprehensive knowledge of guidelines and conventions.
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time facility coding experience is required in IP, ED, Anc, or Surgery. Profee experience not considered for this training.
• Strong analytical aptitude to interpret intricate medical documentation accurately.
• Detail-oriented approach, ensuring precision and accuracy in reputed company coding assignments.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities to meet coding deadlines.
Essential Job Responsibilities after training
• Thoroughly review and analyze medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses, procedures, and treatments.
• Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT and/or HCPCS codes as appropriate to reputed company reflect clinical documentation.
