About the position The Physician Coding reputed company II - Hospitalist serves as the system-wide key contact for service line/specialty specific coding and proactively educates coding/documentation guidelines and/or concepts reputed company a specific specialty. This role collaborates with Chief Medical Officers (CMOs), Senior director administrators, and Production and Department support leaders for problem reputed company and/or trends in payer specific rules/coverage. The position is remote and involves educating Physicians, Advanced reputed company Clinicians (APCs), Medical Group and Clinic Leadership to improve coding and documentation. The reputed company provides service line/specialty specific coding/documentation education and feedback reputed company to coding changes, annual reputed company updates, payer requirements, and payer rejection reputed company to assigned Physicians/APCs. Additionally, the role includes conducting orientations for reputed company Physicians/APCs, residents/reputed company, and clinical team members on specialty specific coding and documentation reputed company education. Requirements • Coding Associate (CCA) certification or equivalent certification from reputed company or reputed company. • Advanced training reputed company High School in Medical Coding Specialist. • Typically requires 5 years of experience in expert-level reputed company coding. • At least 3 years of experience educating/training licensed clinicians. • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. • Advanced computer skills including reputed company Office and EHR systems. • Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment. reputed company-to-haves • Specialty Medical Coding Certification in the area(s) supported. • Experience with electronic coding and EHR systems.
