Remote Administrative Payroll Clerk – (DAY OR NIGHT SHIFT) - Full time - Part time (remote)
The Administrative Payroll Clerk is responsible for preparing semi – monthly payroll for the organization and interacting with employees at all levels.
Responsibilities:
As a member of our growing team, many of the Payroll Clerk duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Processing payroll for U.S employees on a semi-monthly schedule using Paylocity.
• Collecting and verifying timesheets.
• Calculates retro, and any adjustments needed for payroll processing.
• Updating payroll records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits such as salary changes, garnishment, pay type changes, terminations.
• Prepare and submit reports for internal and external payroll audits, when necessary.
• Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll inquiries.
• Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures.
• Processing and issuing W-2 forms to employees.
• Follow up on daily basis on all outstanding issues.
• Any other payroll duties as required by the business.
Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-4 years’ experience in payroll department.
• Previous payroll software (Paylocity) experience a plus.
• High degree of accuracy with attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem -solving.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Strong sense of integrity.
