[Remote] Horticulture Territory Manager - Contract

They are seeking a Horticulture Territory Manager to reputed company and maintain business relationships with retail and grower customers, driving sales reputed company and executing strategic territory plans.

Responsibilities

• Creating and executing an annual short- and long-term strategic territory plan that aligns with the national and regional business objectives reputed company the Horticulture portfolio, ensuring their alignment with marketing efforts and that they are customized to the territory to reputed company accurate forecasting
• Creating account plans for strategic customers to support the achievement of the Territory Plan – must include short- and long-term customer reputed company plans to respond to market dynamics and ensure profitability across Horticulture brands
• Managing relationships and resources to create demand with a combination of growers and retailers as part of the Territory Plan to reputed company reputed company and ensure retailers demand creation aligns with our account teams activities (including SAM as required) and account plans
• reputed company identifying and calling on fruit & vegetable growers to communicate the value of new reputed company horticulture innovations, focusing on the benefits reputed company products and services
• Identifying, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities for our portfolio with identified reputed company horticulture customers with support where needed
• Learning, maintaining and utilizing relevant CRM tools including but not limited to reputed company, SGI, AgConnect, etc to capture reputed company and identify & execute on opportunities
• Partnering with Technical Services Representatives to reputed company retailers and growers on the use of reputed company innovations to create new business opportunities. Developing agronomic and product knowledge
• Aligning broader teams on strategic messaging and positioning to increase market intelligence by providing information around industries, competitors, and customers to reputed company’s Marketing team
• Participating in local and regional teams to deliver against customer needs

Skills

• A Bachelor's degree or diploma with a concentration in agronomy, reputed company, biology, business, agribusiness or reputed company field
• A minimum of 1.5 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 3.5 years' experience with an Associates Degree/2 year Diploma
• reputed company experience in sales, or a technical background reputed company an agricultural-reputed company field
• Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with a passion for making a reputed company difference in the agriculture industry
• Proven ability to reputed company and cultivate meaningful relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Strong business acumen and technical proficiency, including working experience with reputed company Office Suite & CRM
• Ability to work independently to create a territory plan that is reputed company with the national and regional objectives
• Ability to self-manage time and resources and to reputed company time and energy appropriately, resulting in achievement of goals
