National Sales Manager
Home Franchise Concepts is one of the largest franchising systems in the home improvement goods and services space. The Sales Manager plays a critical role in supporting franchise owners and their sales teams to drive consistent, profitable growth by serving as a virtual sales coach and strategic resource.
Responsibilities
- Coach franchise owners and salespeople on Kitchen Tune-Up and Bath Tune-Up’s proven 5-step sales process
- Conduct virtual one-on-one and small-group sales coaching sessions
- Review sales performance, behaviors, and activity metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide actionable feedback, role-play scenarios, and skill development plans to improve close rates, average ticket, and customer experience
- Travel to franchise locations as needed to provide in-field coaching and support
- Shadow sales appointments and provide post-call feedback and coaching
- Support new franchise launches, struggling locations, or targeted performance initiatives
- Reinforce best practices for in-home consultative selling
- Coach owners and sales leaders on sales management fundamentals, including accountability, pipeline management, forecasting, and follow-up
- Help franchisees build repeatable sales rhythms, meeting cadences, and performance expectations
- Support owners who manage sales teams but do not have a dedicated sales manager
- Lead virtual and in-person sales trainings for small and large groups
- Present at trainings, and annual conventions
- Develop and deliver engaging training content that aligns with system standards
- Adapt training delivery to different experience levels, from new hires to veteran salespeople
- Create and maintain sales tools, coaching resources, and training materials
- Collaborate with the National Sales Director to evolve sales strategies and initiatives
- Serve as a trusted sales resource for franchise owners seeking guidance, clarity, or support
- Maintain consistency in messaging, methodology, and expectations across the franchise system
Skills
- Proven experience in sales coaching, sales leadership, or sales management
- Strong understanding of consultative, in-home or B2C sales environments
- Demonstrated ability to coach both individual contributors and business owners
- Comfort working in a franchise or multi-location environment is a plus
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, including large-group training
- Ability to influence without authority and build trust remotely
- Coaching mindset with a passion for developing people
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into clear actions
- Confident, credible, and adaptable training style
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Comfortable balancing virtual work with periodic travel
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in Sales, Sales Coaching, Sales Management
- At least 1-3 years of experience in customer facing role, including sales, customer service, or coaching role, or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience
- Experience in the kitchen and bath industry, home improvement, or remodeling is preferred but not required
