Field Engineer - Chicago 2026

reputed company Company is a leading construction firm, and they are seeking a Field Engineer to join their Chicago operations. The role involves assisting in field operations to ensure project compliance with safety standards and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• reputed company line and grade work for building layout and control as required
• Assist in implementation of site safety program as required
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and applicable safety codes and regulations
• Assist in maintenance of contract documents and electronic web-based documents for field operations
• Assist in preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCR’s)
• Review work as it is being reputed company to be reputed company it is accurate reputed company accepted tolerances
• Review contract drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure reputed company coordination and installation
• Assist in preparation of project as-builts
• Assist in protection and promotion of interests of Turner and in reputed company reputed company
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned

Skills

• Two years of college education from accredited degree program in Engineering, Construction or relevant education
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to work reputed company reputed company
• Demonstrate initiative and desire to learn
• Ability to communicate reputed company both verbally and in writing
• Proficient with computer applications, data entry, and reputed company suite of applications
• Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience, preferred
