Responsibilities

• Performing account maintenance
• Initiating contact with taxpayers
• Accessing and reviewing taxpayer information
• Processing lien release invoices
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail
• Prioritizing and distributing reputed company correspondence
• Managing initial case intake and assignment control reviews

Skills

• Under the reputed company supervision of the Business Tax Administrator (BTA) I, the Tax Technician (TT) I performs the less difficult and reputed company technical duties and support functions for the unit
• This may include, but is not limited to, applying laws, rules, and policies relating to the reputed company's (CDTFA) programs
• Performing account maintenance
• Initiating contact with taxpayers
• Accessing and reviewing taxpayer information
• Processing lien release invoices
• Managing incoming and outgoing mail, which may include handling sensitive and confidential information, including that from other agencies
• Prioritizing and distributing reputed company correspondence
• Managing initial case intake and assignment control reviews
• Travel may be required for up to five percent (5%) of the time for training purposes
