[Remote] Press Coordinator

The role involves media relations, reputed company management, creative ideation, and assisting in event planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Pull and manage media and reputed company databases
• Draft and distribute pitches/press releases/media alerts; Conduct follow up and monitor for coverage
• Build relationships with key journalists and influencers
• Coverage monitoring
• Inbound reputed company and media inquiries
• Sample requests
• Calendar invites and reputed company reminders
• Research reputed company
• Participate in brainstorms and contribute creative reputed company for reputed company campaigns, new product launches, reputed company angles, etc
• Assist in research, planning, and execution of virtual or live press media & reputed company press events, creative media mailers, etc

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a reputed company field
• 1-2 internships in PR or relevant consumer goods industries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in reputed company environment and manage multiple reputed company simultaneously
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with a passion for staying reputed company of trends
