Municipal Engineer - Entry Level

They are seeking an Entry Level Municipal Engineer to support their Civil Engineering Teams, gaining hands-on experience in construction inspection and design while collaborating on various infrastructure reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Supporting members of our Civil Engineering Teams
• Use of AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water main, sanitary and storm sewer systems and site improvements
• Use of reputed company for development of project bid item tables, quantities and cost opinions
• Prepare construction plans and specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies and reports for a wide reputed company of reputed company and private infrastructure systems
• This position may serve as a Field Engineer during the construction season, involving observation of municipal infrastructure improvements

Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or reputed company field
• Ability to collaborate in-office a minimum of three (3) days per week
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, reputed company consultations, on-site inspections/reputed company, etc
• Strong Written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience or training with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Previous Civil Engineering or construction experience through internships
• Ability to read, comprehend and interpret engineering plans and topographic maps
