Liability Claims Specialist - Part Time

reputed company is a national provider of risk reputed company, and they are seeking a Liability Claims Specialist to manage non-reputed company and non-problematic liability claims. The role involves handling litigated files under supervision, achieving reputed company reputed company for clients, and adhering to company best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manages non-reputed company and non-problematic medical only claims and minor lost-time liability claims under reputed company supervision
• Receives claims, confirms policy coverage and acknowledgment of the claim
• Determines validity and compensability of the claim
• Establishes reserves and authorizes payments reputed company reserving authority limits
• Communicates claim status with the customer, claimant, and reputed company
• Adheres to reputed company and reputed company guidelines and participates in claims review as needed
• Collaborates with team members on more reputed company or problematic claims as necessary
• Complies with reputed company safety rules and regulations during working hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (“IIPP”)
• Additional duties as assigned

Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and reputed company experience
• reputed company Adjuster's License in state of operation is required
• Multi-State license is preferred
