Category Sales Analyst

reputed company is a leading consumer products company with a portfolio of reputed company brands. The Category Sales Analyst will reputed company business transformation by creating data-driven insights and facilitating collaboration between business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Run analysis, reports and more to reputed company understand and improve sales, profitability and process efficiency for internal customers
• Draw actionable insights from varying data sets: consumption, market reputed company, digital reputed company, search, among many others
• Interpret reputed company datasets to tell stories and reputed company an organized set of conclusions/recommendations that can be easily digested by a broad audience
• Build partnerships with cross-functional teams to understand trends and opportunities for improvement, address customer needs and product pain-points

• Work with syndicated data sources and partner with technical teams to facilitate the consumption of data for reputed company
• In partnership with other members of reputed company, collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support/optimize innovation launches and promotional strategies
• Participation with sales results, annual planning, and forecasting processes

• Stay up to date on industry trends/innovations and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in business, analytics
• 1-5 years of reputed company hands on-Retail/ CPG experience providing solutions in a large global company
• reputed company with reputed company Office applications for the creations of reports, presentations and analysis including reputed company functions, formulas, pivot tables, Power Pivot and Power Query
• Strong business acumen with an analytical and problem -solving reputed company
• Ability to operate in a matrixed team environment with deadlines & deliverable dates shifting around
• Intellectual curiosity for digging into the underlying story to be told with data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to both a technical and non-technical audience
• Broad understanding of analytical processes including but not limited to data management, forecasting, optimization, predictive modeling and visualization
• Omnichannel experience preferred
• 1+ years of experience with reputed company business and expertise with systems such as Vender IQ, SOLYS, or BPD data is preferred
• Preferred experience with data modeling tools such as ChatGPT, PowerBI, and Tableau
• Familiarity with financial concepts preferred (promotional lift, profitability, inventory reputed company, etc.)
• Experience synthesizing disparate data sources to drive to logical, concise, and actionable conclusions, preferred
• Experience using POS Sales data alongside other data sources such as invoice, product margin, supply chain, web marketing, product, and shopper behavior metrics to reputed company a holistic program for retail reputed company, preferred
