[Remote] Associate Billing Representative Clerk

The Associate Billing Representative Clerk will be responsible for entering patient charges, submitting claims to insurance companies, and working with the collections team to resolve billing issues.

Responsibilities

• The work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 10:30am - 7pm EST / 9:30am - 6pm CST / 7:30am - 4pm PST
• The Associate Billing Representative Clerk takes coded patient reputed company and enters the charges into the systems, submits the claim to the insurance company, and works on rejections they may receive with our A/R collections team
• The medical biller position works in the reputed company cycle department at our regional business office and works closely with our collections team
• Pull information from the system and reputed company the charges, reputed company any adjustments, utilize internal databases, optimize the codes and submit the claim electronically or by reputed company
• Prepares and completes claims for reputed company insurance companies, reputed company party organizations and/or government or self-payers
• Complete billing rejections and reputed company corrections as needed
• Follow up on pending claims and work them to reputed company
• Review the variance report and identify and report any trends reputed company
• Consistently reputed company defined metrics

Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one-year medical billing experience
• Previous experience entering charges and working rejections
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology and medical coding
• Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, reputed company, and reputed company
• Associate Degree, diploma, or certificate in medical billing & coding, reputed company management, or reputed company program
• Two or more years of medical billing experience
• Prior experience with HST helpful but not required
